BUENA PARK (CNS) - Two teenagers broke into an elementary school in Buena Park and vandalized a couple of classrooms before getting caught, police said today.

The accused vandals -- ages 15 and 16 -- broke into Buena Terra Elementary School at 8299 Holder St. on Sunday, tripping an alarm that summoned police, Buena Park police Sgt. Chad Weaver said.

The officers found the two inside, Weaver said, noting that the pair did not appear to have any ties to the school.

They were accused of damaging a TV, chairs and some cables, he added.

The teens were turned over to their parents after being arrested on suspicion of vandalism, Weaver said.
