The coldest storm of the winter season is expected to hit Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Residents of Los Angeles are urged to bundle up this week as it is going to be COLD! This cold front will arrive in Los Angeles on Tuesday and will be around until Wednesday. According to meteorologists, this will be the coldest storm of the winter and we should expect rain and snow to hit the Southland.

Thunderstorms are expected in Los Angeles on Tuesday night and even hail is a possibility.

A winter weather advisory begins at 6 AM on Tuesday and will last until noon on Wednesday for the San Bernardino Mountains. The winter weather is expected to begin Tuesday afternoon and last until Tuesday night - most areas will see approximately a quarter-inch of rain. Foothills could see one to two inches of rain.
