Dr. Fauci Says No To Removing Masks On Airplanes

While some have suggested that we no longer need to wear facemasks on airplanes, Dr. Anthony Fauci disagrees - strongly.

In an interview with ABC, Fauci said it's "not something we should even be considering" at the moment.

He added "when you're dealing with a closed space, even though the filtration is good... you want to go that extra step"

Fauci was responding to comments made earlier this month by Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly, who told the Senate that masks "don't add much, if anything" to stopping COVID-19.
