DIAMOND BAR (CNS) - A motorcyclist killed when his Harley-Davidson rear-ended a big rig in Diamond Bar over the weekend was identified today by the Los Angeles County coroner.

Steven Klein, 51, a resident of Bullhead City, Arizona, died from multiple blunt-force injuries, the coroner said.

Officers responded at 2:46 a.m. Saturday to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway just south of Diamond Bar Boulevard, said Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol. Kimball said the cause of the collision remains under investigation.

The man now identified as Klein allegedly made an unsafe lane change into the number five lane and struck the right rear of a big rig, according to initial reports.

The 2016 Harley-Davidson then traveled out of control and struck a concrete K-rail.

The big-rig driver was not injured.

The CHP's Baldwin Park area office urged anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 626-338-1164.
