One Person Dead in Fiery Covina Car Crash

COVINA (CNS) - One person was killed after a vehicle hit an electrical box in Covina and burst into flames, authorities said.

Officers responded at 11:11 p.m. Monday to a call at 4325 N. Sunflower Ave., where they determined that a vehicle struck the electrical box in an open grate before bursting into flames, said a California Highway Patrol spokesman.

No further information was immediately available.
