LYNWOOD (CNS) - Authorities today released images of a person of interest sought for questioning in connection with the discovery of a baby boy in a restroom at Yvonne Burke-John D. Ham Park in Lynwood.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a call about 8 a.m. last Friday regarding the infant, who was found in a trash can in the women's bathroom, according to a department statement.

The baby, who detectives believe was born sometime between Wednesday and Friday, was transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition. The newborn's parents have not been identified.

The sheriff's department on Wednesday afternoon released images and a sketch of a female suspect seen pushing a pink three-wheeled stroller in the area and said she is being sought for questioning.

Anyone with information on the baby or the person of interest was asked to call the LASD's Special Victims Bureau at 877-710-5273. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
