VP Kamala Harris Expected To Spend Easter Weekend In Southland

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - For the third time in three months, Vice President Kamala Harris will return to her Brentwood home this weekend for what's being described as a personal visit for Easter.

The Los Angeles Times, citing an administration official, reported that Harris will return to the Los Angeles area Thursday and remain through Sunday. She and husband Doug Emhoff are expected to spend their time visiting family, The Times reported.

Harris is scheduled to travel to Oakland on Monday to discuss the Biden administration's national infrastructure proposal, then she will return to Brentwood Monday evening, before departing the area Tuesday.

It will be Harris' third visit to the area since becoming vice president. She spent a weekend in Brentwood in February, then made an overnight stop in March following an official visit to Las Vegas. She has not had any public events or appearances in the area during her visits.
