Health Officials Seek Help Identifying Was Struck While Cycling

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services asked for help today identifying a hospital patient who was on a bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle.

The department circulated a photo of the man they said was struck by a vehicle about 8 a.m. Tuesday at Island Avenue and West Pacific Coast Highway in Wilmington while riding a black-and-red bicycle.

He did not have any identification when he arrived at the hospital, DHS said.

The man was described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 156 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He is roughly 30 years old and has a thin mustache, DHS said.

Anyone with information that could help identify the man can call the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center at 424-306-6310.
