More Retail Chains Offering To Pay Employees To Get COVID-19 Vaccine

More and more retail chains are offering to pay employees who get a COVID-19 vaccine.

  • The list includes Trader Joe's, Aldi, and Dollar General, as well as the grocery delivery service Instacart.
  • Aldi is even looking into the possibility of setting up vaccination clinics at its warehouse and office locations to make things easier for workers.

Retail chain, Dollar General, announced about a week ago that they will pay their employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

They are offering a one-time payment equivalent to four hours of pay.

A statement released by the company said-

"We do not want our employees to have to choose between receiving a vaccine or coming to work".

Dollar General is not making it a requirement to get the vaccine. Dollar General was deemed an essential retailer and has remained open throughout the pandemic
