Authorities say they have taken two people into custody in connection with an 80-year-old man who was found beaten and robbed inside a grocery store bathroom in Lancaster.
Damaris Wade, 22, and Tamika White, 33, allegedly assaulted and robbed the victim in bathroom of the Superior Grocers on Wednesday morning last week.
White allegedly accompanied the man to the store, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
He suffered several injuries to his face, as well as several broken ribs. The victim was briefly held in the Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital, but his family says he is out of the ICU and faces a long recovery.
