LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two-dozen Los Angeles County libraries will offer free lunches this summer for teens and children for the sixth consecutive year, officials announced today.
The summer lunch program will launch Tuesday and run through Aug. 7 as a grab-and-go, no-contact pickup to allow for physical distancing.
The lunch program will be available between 12 and 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday -- except for July 3 -- at the following libraries:
-- A.C. Bilbrew in Los Angeles;
-- Angelo M. Iacoboni in Lakewood;
-- Baldwin Park;
-- Carson;
-- Compton;
-- El Camino Real in East Los Angeles;
-- El Monte;
-- Hawthorne;
-- Huntington Park;
-- La Puente;
-- Lake Los Angeles;
-- Lancaster;
-- Lawndale;
-- Leland R. Weaver in South Gate;
-- Lennox;
-- Los Nietos in Whittier;
-- Lynwood;
-- Paramount;
-- Quartz Hill;
-- Rowland Heights;
-- San Fernando;
-- San Gabriel;
-- South Whittier;
-- West Covina.
