Little Change to Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged for the third consecutive day today, remaining at $4.120.

The average price is a half-cent less than one week ago but 25.4 cents more than one month ago and 43.6 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $4.096, after decreasing slightly for three consecutive days and four of the past five. It is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago but 26.5 cents more than one month ago and 44.8 cents higher than one year ago.

The average price dropped seven-tenths of a cent over the previous five days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday.
