Democrats Party In Puerto Rico As Government Shutdown Still Looms On

As the government shutdown carries on, 30 Democratic members of Congress have traveled to Puerto Rico to meet with lobbyists but are also caught partying on the beaches, according to Fox News.

The Dems are so concerned with the southern border crisis that the only way they can cope with it is to enjoy the beaches of Puerto Rico.  Who cares that 800,000 federal workers are being UNPAID, or even that illegal immigrants are KILLING our American citizens? These Congress members have to make sure they still get their tan on.

Rightfully so, Republican leaders slammed the Democrats following the reports and pictures surfacing the internet.

The initial reason for the Democrats trip to Puerto Rico was to attend the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC gathering so they could meet with Puerto Rican officials to discuss the cleanup efforts from Hurricane Maria.

The Democrats version of a business trip is WAY different than ours.

This ongoing partial government shutdown is now the longest government closure in the United States history.

President Trump's request of $5.7 billion to build a wall along the U.S -Mexico border is being refused by the Democrats profusely. To compensate for this refusal, he is refusing to sign spending bills for nine of the 15 Cabinet-level departments.

We're all so tired of this shutdown and hearing from the Democrats that there's no need for a border wall. Can they just give up their fight already and let President Trump proceed with his promise to the American people? We want a wall.
