Mexicans Are On The Way...To Legalizing Weed

Last month, Canada officially legalized marijuana nationwide.  Now, our neighbors to the south are taking a big step in that direction.  

Mexico's Supreme Court just ruled that the country's laws banning marijuana are unconstitutional, bringing the nation one step closer to legalization.

The ruling could allow for individual possession or growing, but not sales of marijuana.  

Mexican president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador has made it clear that his administration will seek an open debate at the very least when they take office in December.   

If things keep going this way, who knows!  The "newly commissioned" USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) might eventually have a hand in managing the international marijuana trade.
