``Searching” was expanded into wide release for the first time, and was on track to open with $5.7 million.

Rounding out the 10 most-popular movies, as estimated by the studios for the first three days of the holiday weekend, were ``Christopher Robin” ($5 million), ``Alpha” ($4.5 million), ``The Happytime Murders” ($4.4 million), ``BlacKkKlansman” ($4.1 million) and ``Mile 22” ($3.6 million).
