The debate about sanctuary cities just went nuclear and is set to be resolved in federal court. The Justice Department has brought three lawsuits to the state of California over three new laws providing protection to illegal immigrants. Attorney General Jeff Sessions spoke in CA Wednesday detailing the suits in what Governor Jerry Brown called a 'political stunt'.
"This is basically going to war against the state of California, the engine of the American economy," Brown said. "It's not wise, it's not right and it will not stand."
