Robot chefs could soon be taking over more kitchens throughout California, as the autonomous restaurant concept gains popularity. That's what robot-based startups in the Bay Area are anticipating. Fast pizza-delivery is made possible in Silicon Valley thanks to Zume bots that can produce the exact amount of sauce to dough.
In San Francisco, ramen fans can order Yo-Kai Express noodles or get a Cafe-X latte at automated kiosks. The robo-startups are lining up more funding in hopes of expanding throughout the rest of the Bay Area and Southern California.
