Valentine's at Chaya in Venice

 Quite possibly one of the most decadent dining experiences in Los Angeles will be at CHAYA Downtown this Valentine's Day, where yourValentine's Day cravings will be perfectly satisfied with a Three-Course Prix-Fixe Menu for $65 per person. An Amuse-Bouche will start the evening featuring a Beet Tartare Cone with Cara Cara orange and hearts of palm leading into the First Course choices of fresh Hokkaido Wagyu Shabu Shabu or the Smoked Hamachi. The Entrée options include the spicy Miso Hamachi Toro with Fresno chili peppers, the Filet Mignonwith truffle oil and the Kurobuta Pork Chop Katsu topped with mustard aioli and sweet Brussels sprouts. The sweetest treat to end this delightful evening will be the smoldering Chocolate Molten Matcha Cake or the flavorful Strawberry Chiffon Cake. The real Shot at Love is with the beautifully pink cocktail of the same namesake prepared with chilled Deep Eddy Vodka, Yuzu sake, muddled strawberries and frothy egg white from Bartender Marco Currasco. A beautiful and quite tasty night in the City of Angels will leave your heart and tummy happy!

 A little beachside romance is always a sweet idea and CHAYA Venice has all the sites and bites you could possibly hope for this Valentine’s Day!Executive Chef Joji Inoue, also known as the “Seafood Samurai,” is sure to prepare an amazing, Three-Course Prix-Fixe Menu for $60 per person that will encapsulate the fresh ocean vibes.  Starting with an Amuse-Bouche of Monaka with truffle cream cheese and sweet strawberry chutney leads the way to a creative array of fun dishes throughout this very special evening. The First Course choices range from slow roastedBeets to Tartare with tuna, shrimp, calamari and avocado, Hamachi sashimi, Oysters topped with caviar, or Wagyu, shabu shabu served with mentaiko butter over broccolini and grilled rice.  The hard decision will come during the Main Course, deciding between the hibachi grilledSalmon served with a miso crème fraiche, Risotto with mascarpone, the Steak served with savory brown butter sukiyaki and dashi potatoes, or chef’s selection of Hand-Rolled Sushi. Before you order Dessert make sure to you fawn over the Love Potion, a pomegranate and rose elixir, shaken with egg white, simple syrup and lemon. Whether you prefer a light Panna Cotta prepared with milk tea and shortbread or a richChocolate Mousse made with sweet potato, black truffle and chocolate, you will find that your palette will be smitten. Of course, knowing that sometimes simple bites for sharing are a good option for a lighter palate, CHAYA Venice will also offer a special A la Carte Menu as well.
