Missing Lancaster Sisters

Two girls from Lancaster have been reported missing and the police are asking for the public's help to find them.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lietenant Dan Nagelmann says 11-year-old Relinne and 12-year-old Derinne Harris left their home Monday evening after having a fight with their mother.

Detectives say the girls didn't show up for school the next day and when their friends were questioned, they said they didn't know where the girls were.

Nagelmann says their mother told deputies her daughters may be with their estranged father, Deshaun Montell Paul Carter.

"It's more of a guess. Detectives are trying to contact him to see if he knows anything."

Anyone with information about the girls' whereabouts is asked to call detectives at (661) 948-8466.
