Disneyland is suspending their popular Southern California annual pass, a Disneyland spokesperson confirmed on Monday.

The annual pass allowed visitors entrance to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on specific days year-round. This pass will no longer be available to new customers as of now.

With new attractions like Star Wars Land coming to Disney, officials are taking proper measures to “spread out the demand,” ABC News reports.

“Our annual passes are very popular with guests,” said Michele Himmelberg, a Disneyland spokeswoman. “We continuously seek the appropriate balance that helps manage demand for our product and allows us to deliver a world-class experience for all guests.”

Current annual pass holders will have the option to renew, while those who have expired passes will receive a letter on the steps they need to take to renew.

The Southern California annual pass was one of the least expensive annual passes at $469.

The pass is no longer on the Disneyland website.

In 2016, Disneyland introduced a tiered ticket pricing structure to help alleviate crowding.

This is the second time the Southern California annual pass has been discontinued. In 2014, Disneyland officials removed the annual pass to help manage large crowds that come on Sundays at the theme parks. Disney later reintroduced it in 2016.

The Southern California Select Passport, which allows visitors 170 days of access to both theme parks will still be available at $339.
