SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — Santa Ana police say one man was injured in an officer-involved shooting at a gas station.

The Orange County Register reports the man was shot in the lower  torso Thursday at a Chevron gas station. Officials say his injuries are non-life threatening.

Officers were not injured in the incident.

Investigators say the man and his twin brother were arrested after the shooting in connection with at least seven armed robberies that occurred between April 19 and Sept. 1. A woman who was found with narcotics was also arrested at the motel where police first encountered the brothers.

Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna says they received tips about the man's identity after publicly releasing surveillance photos and videos from the robberies.
