OJ Simpson getting parole hearing in July

The Juice could be on the loose once again. NBC LA reports that OJ Simpson will receive a parole hearing in July. A date for the hearing will be set sometime in mid-June according.

Simpson has been denied parole twice for his involvement in an armed robbery that occurred in Nevada almost ten years ago. Once in 2013, and again in 2014.

The 69-year-old has been locked up at Nevada's Lovelock Correctional Center for nearly nine years after the former NFL and USC football star was convicted of armed robbery. The strong-arm hotel heist landed Simpson in prison nearly 13 years to the day after he was acquitted of murder in the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend, Rob Goldman.

Simpson was convicted of armed robbery after he and a group of men entered a room in the Palace Station hotel in Las Vegas, and took various pieces of sports memorabilia at gunpoint. Simpson was arrested for his involvement in the robbery, who later admitted to taking the items (which he said had been stolen from him). Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison, with eligibility for parole coming up this year.
