KFI began construction on its new radio tower in La Mirada on Saturday 3/15. Today, during the installation process, a significant portion of the tower construction fell. One worker suffered injuries, believed to be minor. KFI enlisted the services of Seacomm Erectors, Inc. to undertake the rebuilding of the KFI radio tower. Seacomm is the premier tower steel erector in the United States, specializing in the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunication towers. KFI is in close contact with Seacomm as it examines today's events to determine exactly what happened.
