Police Report Burglary at Sowden House

LOS FELIZ (CNS) - A man was arrested by the Los Angeles police today after report of a burglary at Sowden House at 5121 Franklin Ave. in Los Feliz.

The burglary was reported at 7:35 p.m. according to a Los Angeles desk officer.

The Sowden House is also known as the Jaws House or Franklin House and was built in 1926. The original owner was painter and photographer John Sowden and it was built by Lloyd Wright, the eldest son of Frank Lloyd Wright.

It has appeared in movies, including ``L.A. Confidential'' in 1997 and ``The Aviator'' in 2004, and in television shows, ``America's Next Top Model'' and ``Ghost Hunters.''

No further information was available about the burglary, and no injuries were reported.
