Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $4.402.

The average price is five-tenths of a cent less than one week ago but 1.3 cents more than one month ago and $1.185 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has risen $1.168 since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.354. It is seven-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and three-tenths of a cent lower than one month ago but $1.164 more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has risen $1.151 since the start of the year.
