Armed Suspect Arrested in Adams-Normandie Area After 3-Hour Search

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - An armed suspect was arrested this morning after a nearly three-hour search in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood, near USC, police said.

Officers created a perimeter shortly after midnight in the area of South Catalina Street and Adams Boulevard, and Vermont Avenue and 25th Street, and began a search for the suspect, said a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.

No suspect description, or details of why the suspect was wanted, were immediately available.
