CARSON (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department today asked for the public's assistance to locate an 89-year-old man who suffers from dementia and was last seen in Carson.
Clarence Chitwood was last seen at about 6:30 p.m. on April 17 in the 300 block of East Carson Street.
Chitwood is Black, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black-and-white checkered shirt.
Anyone with information about Chitwood's whereabouts is asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at www.lacrimestoppers.org.
