Man Shot And Killed Outside Van Nuys Strip Club; Suspects Sought

VAN NUYS (CNS) - A man was fatally shot today outside a Van Nuys strip club, and three suspects were being sought.

The shooting occurred about 2:45 a.m. near the Red Tie Gentlemen's Club at 15832 Stagg St., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to police and reports from the scene, the victim argued with a man who was accompanied by two other men who were in a dark car. During the argument, the suspect shot the victim and then got into the car, which sped off.

Information was not immediately available on the fatally wounded man's identity or age. Descriptions were not available of the suspects.

Another fatal shooting occurred outside the club nearly a year ago. On Feb. 25, 2019, at about 2:10 a.m., Jorge Soto, 34, of Northridge was fatally during a dispute with several suspects who fled in a vehicle.

Today's strip club shooting was the second shooting in Van Nuys in three days. Someone fatally shot a 35-year-old transient in Lake Balboa/Anthony C. Beilenson Park in the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area about a quarter after 10 Tuesday night. He was 35-year-old Bryan Woodson. Witnesses said Woodson and his killer argued before the shooting.
