Average Southland Gas Prices Drop Slightly

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.597, one day after remaining unchanged.

The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 31.2 cents higher than one year ago but 2.5 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.542, one day after remaining unchanged. It is one-tenth of a cent lower than one week ago and three-tenths of a cent less than one month ago but 29.2 cents higher than one year ago.
