Ex-Dodger Rich Hill and Wife Arrested at Patriots Game

NLCS - Chicago Cubs v Los Angeles Dodgers - Game Three

Former Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill and his wife were arrested over the weekend after getting into a dispute with security officials at a Patriots game.

The incident occurred Saturday at Gillette Stadium just before the Patriots-Bills game. When Caitlin Hill attempted to enter the stadium with a large purse, she was told only bags that are transparent or wallet-sized are allowed inside. Instead of bringing her purse back to their car, the Hills reportedly walked to a different gate, only to be turned away again, according to Foxborough police. When she became irate, police attempted to take her into custody -- which made Rich Hill evenmoreirate, according to their arrest report. Both were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Rich Hill, who pitched for the Red Sox from 2010 through 2012, is rumored to be in negotiations to return to the team. There's no word on whether the incident will affect the potential gig.
