5G is here for four of the biggest carriers in America: At&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

It has the ability to do great things such as offering faster speeds, and providing smart cities.

But how great is it right now?

Axios.com reports that although 5G is here for these major companies, it may not be as fast and readily available as we would want it.

For starters, these companies only have a couple of devices that will have the ability to use 5G.

Also, 5G is only available in part of the country. For example, Sprint only has this service in parts of Kansas City, Houston, Atlanta, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

So, if you live in one of these areas, should you go right out and by a 5G-ready device?

Marsha Collier, tech expert and author of eBay for Dummies, talks to Mo'Kelly about the where we are and where we're going with 5G.
