On Thursday, President Trump announced he would be signing the farm bill by tweeting out a video of him signing the 'Green Acres' theme song at the 2005 Emmy Awards. Standing beside actress Megan Mullally, Trump sang the sitcom's theme song dressed in overalls and a straw hat.

"Green acres is the place to be. Farm living is the life for me," he sings. "Land spreading out so far and wide -- keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside."

President Trump tweeted the #ThrowbackThursday video with the caption "Farm Bill signing in 15 minutes!"

About 30 minutes later, Megan Mullally tweeted her thoughts on the throwback post.

According to reporters, Trump even had the theme song playing as he walked out to sign the bill.

"We're here to celebrate a really tremendous victory for the American farmer," Trump said. "Ranchers, agriculture, incredible people."

This five-year farm policy bill aims to address farming, nutrition, conservation, trade, energy and forestry, according to ABC News. It passed the House and the Senate on Wednesday.

The last farm bill expired on October 1.
