OC Supervisors Seeking Alternative to Proposed Tent Cities

Following seething outcries from OC residents all week at least two county supervisors have decided to walk back their plan to put up county sanctioned tent cities in Laguna Niguel, Huntington Beach, and Irvine.

Supervisors Lisa Bartlett and Michelle Steel will meet with the Board of Supervisors Tuesday March 27 and plan to introduce and item that will reverse the plan for the homeless dump in the three cities. Instead, Bartlett will introduce a single 400-bed homeless camp in Irvine.
