Three Sought in Pacoima Costco Robbery

PACOIMA (CNS) - Three men were being sought in the smash-and-grab robbery of jewelry from a Costco store today in Pacoima.

The crime occurred about 10:40 a.m. in the 13500 block of Paxton Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers originally went to the location on a report of shots fired, but later determined that no shots had been fired. No one was hurt, police said.

The suspects, described only as white or Hispanic, wore dark clothing, including bandannas covering their faces. One was armed with a handgun, and the others used hammers to smash display cases, police said.

They fled in a silver 2012-13 Mercedes-Benz, possibly a C-class car, with ``Keys Auto'' paper plates, police said.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call (877) LAPD-247.
