Feinstein Says She Hopes Trump Can Change, Crowd Boos

Senator Dianne Feinstein heard boos from some constituents after not being critical enough of President Trump.  While speaking at a Commonwealth Club forum in San Francisco last night, the senator expressed hope that Trump could be a good president if he has the ability to learn and change.  Some responded by booing Feinstein, while others shouted disbelief.

During the speech, the senator declined to directly discuss impeachment possibilities.  Still, she denounced Trump's response to Charlottesville and called his decision to pardon Arizona's former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio "a stupid thing to do."
