D.C. Police Deploy Riot Police Against Protesters on K Street

Protesters upset with the election of Donald Trump as president clashed with D.C. police today in a series of protests all over the city. During one protest on K Street in front of the Washington Post's offices, a limousine was set on fire, prompting a response from riot police.

Police deployed pepper spray and flashbang grenades in an attempt to disperse the crowd. Protesters threw rocks, sticks, trash cans - anything that wasn't nailed down. Three men from Freehugs.tv stepped in front of the protesters and attempted to calm them down asking for peace.

Watch the protest as it happened with KFI's Facebook Live video.
